Now that you’ve got all the measurements and rounded them accordingly, it’s time to cut your cables. Start by securing your cable reel to allow it to freely spool as you pull out each length. Extend your measuring tape and secure it with a yard stake or similar tool.
Using your Tyler Tool Cable Cutter, walk the cable down to the required length (in our example, 70') and cut it into 7-foot increments as you walk back toward the reel.
Bundle all the pre-cut cables together and use masking tape to hold them securely. Label each bundle clearly with its corresponding cable number. Repeat this process for all remaining cable runs until every cable in your system is pre-cut.
