Plastic steel door making process

PVC profiles are commonly used for manufacturing doors and windows. However, since these profiles alone may lack sufficient strength, it’s typical to insert steel reinforcements into the hollow sections to enhance durability and stability. This combination results in what we often call "steel-reinforced plastic doors and windows." These doors and windows combine the benefits of both materials—plastic's flexibility and steel's robustness.

The primary components of a plastic steel door include polyvinyl chloride (PVC), modified PVC, resin, and other additives. Depending on specific design specifications, galvanized cold-rolled steel is inserted into the profile cavities, adhering to national standards. Typically, the steel reinforcement measures about 1.5mm thick. Specialized machinery is then used for cutting, welding, and final assembly, resulting in a product that rivals traditional materials like aluminum, steel, or wood in terms of functionality and performance.

One standout advantage of plastic steel doors is their excellent fire resistance. They do not ignite, self-combust, or sustain flames, making them a safer choice compared to other materials. Additionally, their thermal conductivity is significantly lower than wood or metal, offering superior insulation properties compared to aluminum.

These doors also excel in extreme environmental conditions. Whether exposed to temperatures ranging from -30°C to -70°C, intense sunlight, heavy rainfall, or high humidity, they remain stable without warping, fading, or becoming brittle. Furthermore, they resist corrosion caused by acidic or alkaline substances and are impervious to dust, cement, and adhesives.

Another impressive feature is their thoughtful design. Plastic steel doors come equipped with a drainage system, ensuring tight seals at the joints. This prevents water infiltration, keeping interiors dry while maintaining noise levels below 20 UP. With regular cleaning using mild detergents, these doors retain their pristine appearance and boast an average lifespan exceeding 30 years.

In residential settings, particularly in kitchens and bathrooms, moisture and dust are common concerns. For such areas, plastic steel doors provide ideal solutions due to their fireproofing, thermal insulation, waterproofing, and ease of maintenance. Their versatility makes them suitable for use as kitchen doors, bathroom doors, and more. These qualities contribute to their growing popularity among homeowners and builders alike.
