**A Traditional Kitchen with a French Twist**

The owners of this classic white kitchen, designed by Cranberry Hill Kitchens, adored its timeless, traditional aesthetic, particularly the pristine cloud-white painted cabinetry. However, they yearned to breathe new life into the space, adding an elegant French-country twist. To achieve this, they turned to their trusted source, Winterberry Lane, known for its chic French decor and exclusive design services provided by none other than Designer Jackie Glass. Together, Jackie and Winterberry Lane transformed the couple's dream into reality.
Inspired by the intricate mosaic pattern in the backsplash, Jackie drew upon her signature color palette—warm whites, soft blues, and subtle creams—to harmonize the high-contrast elements in the room. This palette not only balanced the stark contrast between the white cabinetry and dark-stained floors but also infused the space with a touch of French flair.
To soften the room's aesthetic, the once-dull beige walls were repainted in Benjamin Moore's Stonington Gray, a color that subtly shifts hues depending on the light, bringing added depth and warmth to the kitchen. Sheer linen blinds were installed to diffuse the bright southern sunlight, further enhancing the room's gentle ambiance.
Cranberry Hill Kitchens selected durable Caesarstone countertops in Dreamy Marfil, a creamy white shade that complements the integrated round Corian dining table. The table features a uniquely shaped custom pedestal base and was topped with Corian in Vanilla to provide a softer dining surface compared to quartz. This mix of materials adds a distinctive character to the kitchen, setting it apart from typical modern designs.
The white Franke Fireclay farmhouse sink, paired with an antique pewter pull-down faucet by Waterstone Faucets, perfectly encapsulates the French-country aesthetic while maintaining functionality and sophistication. A matching pot filler above the stove completes the look, proving indispensable to the owners.
In the dining area, a wall-to-wall built-in china cabinet with glass-front doors provides a showcase for cherished heirlooms and daily tableware alike. Interior lighting ensures the cabinet's contents gleam, adding a touch of elegance.
For the finishing touches, Jackie sourced a set of Louis XIV-style dining chairs upholstered in a soft cream, green, and blue check fabric from Kravet (1513), alongside a French-style painted iron chandelier. These elements together create a welcoming, French-inspired kitchen that perfectly matches the homeowners' vision.
