**Windows 7**
In Windows 7, you can easily copy the full path and file name by checking the "Content > Security" section of a file. This provides a clear view of the complete file location.
**In the EPDM Document Library**
When working within the SolidWorks Enterprise PDM document library, the standard file properties dialog does not include a direct option to copy the full path. This can be a bit frustrating if you need to quickly access or share the file's location.
**Tips & Tricks**
Here’s a simple trick: hold down the **Shift** key while right-clicking on a file in the EPDM library. A context menu will appear, and you’ll notice an additional option labeled **"Copy Path"**. Using this command allows you to directly copy the full file path, including the file name, enclosed in double quotes. For example:
> "D:\_EPDM test2\L1_Projects\Project # P0028\3D Design\Ball Valve\Side.SLDPRT"
This is especially useful when you need to reference files in scripts, documentation, or communication with others.
