Hydropower Transformation
Ready to work:
1. Complete the decoration procedures at the property office before starting any renovation. Make sure to choose a professional decoration company and avoid making careless decisions.
2. Ask the property management to coordinate with neighbors on the upper floor who haven’t renovated yet. Conduct a water test to prevent leaks from above, which could cause damage below. Identifying issues early can save time and money in the long run.
3. Before starting, ensure that you or your designer has a clear plan for the layout of the kitchen and bathroom, including brand choices, placement, and overall design.
4. When the construction begins, have the cabinet master or designer mark the position of the sink and required water outlets.
5. Decide whether to use an electric water heater or a gas boiler. Each option has its own pros and cons, so it's up to the homeowner to choose based on their needs. If choosing an electric model, make sure it’s a reputable brand and properly sized for your household.
6. Determine the height of the shower and the size of the pedestal. If you're planning to install a bathtub or a full bathroom system, make sure all dimensions are set before changing the water pipes. It's also recommended to install one or two extra outlets for future flexibility.
The main purpose of changing the water system is to clean and conceal the pipes, creating a personalized water environment tailored to your family's habits and needs.
Important notes when changing the water system: Ensure hot and cold water lines are clearly separated. After construction, perform a pressure test and sign a quality assurance card. Also, obtain detailed water pipeline drawings for reference.
Be aware that some communities have thick load-bearing walls that cannot be cut into (as this may compromise the structural integrity of the house). In such cases, you can either create shallow grooves (which require reinforced cement during tiling) or route the pipes along the wall. If you want to paint over the grooves, make sure to inform the contractor beforehand. While our installation process ensures no joints in the grooves—reducing the chance of leaks—the decision to apply waterproofing is ultimately up to the homeowner.
If you plan to add more water connections later, we can reserve one or two outlets based on your request. You can install the faucet when needed.
Before starting the project, make sure to plan the overall layout. This helps avoid confusion when communicating with the construction team. Our standard approach follows industry norms, but if you have special requirements, it’s important to explain them clearly in advance.
Electrical System Upgrade:
Key considerations for electrical changes, especially in the master bedroom:
1. Main lighting—consider installing dual switches by the bed for convenience.
2. Cable TV—ensure the location is suitable and equipped with a proper socket.
3. Internet and phone sockets—usually placed near the bedside table for easy access.
4. Add a socket behind each of the two bedside cabinets. For added convenience, you can also install a socket above the nightstand to avoid blocking and improve usability. A ground-mounted socket may be more practical for nighttime use.
5. Check if the air conditioner socket is positioned correctly.
6. Install lights in areas with walkways for better visibility.
7. If there’s a large wardrobe with poor lighting, consider adding a light source.
8. Place two motorized sockets on open, unobstructed walls for occasional use of appliances like vacuum cleaners or irons.
