Hydropower Transformation
Ready to work:
1. Complete the decoration procedures at the property office before starting any renovation. Make sure to choose a professional decoration company and avoid careless decisions.
2. Ask the property management to coordinate with neighbors who haven't renovated yet, and conduct a water test on the upper floor. This helps prevent leaks from above and potential damage below, allowing early detection and timely repairs.
3. It's essential to have your own designer or yourself plan the layout of the kitchen and bathroom. Decide on the brands, locations, and overall design in advance to avoid last-minute changes.
4. When the construction starts, the cabinet master or designer should be present to position the sink and necessary outlets accurately.
5. Choose between an electric water heater or a gas boiler based on your needs. Each has its pros and cons, so make an informed decision. If you go for an electric model, ensure it’s from a reliable brand and properly sized for your home.
6. Determine the height of the shower and measure the pedestal accordingly. If you're installing a bathtub or a full bathroom system, make sure all dimensions are set before the water pipes are changed. It’s recommended to install one or two extra outlets for future use.
The main purpose of changing the water system is to clear and conceal the pipes, creating a personalized plumbing setup that fits your family’s lifestyle and water usage habits.
Important points to consider when changing the water system: Ensure hot and cold water lines are clearly separated. After installation, perform pressure tests and sign a quality assurance card. Keep a copy of the piping layout for future reference.
Be aware that some communities have thick load-bearing walls where cutting into the structure is not allowed (as it could compromise the building’s integrity). In such cases, you can only make shallow cuts or run the pipes along the walls. If you want to cut grooves in the wall, inform the team beforehand. Our standard procedure ensures no joints in the grooves, which minimizes the risk of leaks. However, if waterproofing isn’t applied or the owner chooses otherwise, it may still pose a risk.
If you plan to add more water connections later, we can reserve one or two outlets as needed. You can install the faucet when you’re ready.
Before starting the project, make sure to plan the entire layout. This will help avoid confusion during communication with the construction team. Our process follows standard practices, but any special requests must be clearly communicated in advance.
Electrical System Upgrade:
Focus on the following in the master bedroom:
1. Main lighting – consider a dual-switch system near the bed for convenience.
2. Cable TV outlet – place it in a suitable location with an appropriate socket.
3. Internet and telephone sockets – typically placed on the bedside table for easy access.
4. Add a socket behind each bedside cabinet for better usability. You can also install a socket above the bed for easier access without blocking the space.
5. Check if the air conditioner socket is positioned correctly.
6. Install lights in areas like hallways for better visibility.
7. Add lighting in large wardrobes that have poor natural light.
8. Include two motorized sockets on open, unobstructed walls for occasional use of appliances like vacuum cleaners or irons.
