National First Electret Theory and Application Seminar Held in Hangzhou

The first nationwide seminar on electret theory and its application was held on July 26, 2015 at the Hangzhou University of Electronic Technology, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University, Tongji University, Second Military Medical University, Chongqing University, and Hangzhou Dianzi University The leaders, experts, teachers, and classmates reported on the research results of the electret theory and applications. The Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Safety and Health Protective Products Industry Association Wang Liangji was invited to attend the meeting and made a speech.

The electret is a functional material that can store charge for a long period of time. The electret non-woven filter material has an electrostatic effect, low resistance, high efficiency, outstanding capturing ability for fine particles, production of medical protective masks and anti-particulate masks. Widely used, it is a very promising type of respiratory protection materials.
