Dragon boat flower breeding and breeding method

Dragon Boat Flower Breeding and Cultivation Method:

The Dragon Boat Flower, also known as the "Bottlebrush Plant," is typically propagated through cuttings. This method includes branch cutting, bud insertion, and root cutting. The best time for propagation is during spring and autumn, but you can also take tender shoots in June. It's important to provide shade, keep the environment moist, and maintain a temperature between 20-25°C. Rooting usually takes around 20 days.

When starting from seeds, it’s best to sow them in spring at a temperature of 24°C, and germination typically occurs within 10 days. However, obtaining fresh seeds can be challenging, so artificial pollination is often necessary. Once the seedlings are strong enough, they should be transplanted into pots filled with acidic humus soil. Make sure the bottom of the pot has large drainage holes and include a proper drainage layer to prevent waterlogging, especially during the rainy season.

During the growing season, avoid overwatering, as excessive moisture can lead to poor flowering or even root rot. Repot the plant annually, add base fertilizer, and apply liquid fertilizer 2–3 times during the growing period. During the flowering phase, use a balanced three-nutrient fertilizer at a concentration of 0.2% weekly. In autumn, move the plant to a greenhouse with plenty of sunlight, reduce watering, and stop fertilizing to encourage dormancy. The plant can survive winter if kept above 8°C.

In spring, when repotting, trim the upper branches to promote new growth. If the plant is kept indoors and light is insufficient, it may grow vines without flowering. To maintain a compact and bushy shape, pinch back the tips during early growth stages. You can also use supports like trellises or stakes to help the plant climb. Regular misting of the leaves helps maintain high humidity, which is essential for healthy growth. Additionally, ensure good air circulation in the growing area to prevent diseases.

Low Creep Refractory Brick

Low creep clay refractory bricks are made of selected high alumina clinker, mullite, combined with clay as the main raw materials, high pressure molding, high temperature sintering and become. The product has excellent high temperature physical properties and chemical corrosion resistance. According to the creep rate (0.2MPa, 1280 ℃, 25h) can be divided into ≤ 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8% of the three series of low creep clay brick.
