By 2007, Kohler added a cabinet factory in Changshu, launched its cabinet business in China, and set up a generator production facility in Chongqing. An electronics factory was also established in Shanghai’s Jinqiao Development Zone. In late 2008, Kohler acquired Zhuhai Jiade Kitchen & Bath Products, expanding its stainless steel sink production, and later acquired Jiafeng Sanitary Ware in Zhongshan, boosting its offerings in shower rooms, bathtubs, and more.

All Kohler factories adhere to strict global quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence worldwide. China has become a crucial part of Kohler’s global strategy. Its products are featured in many high-end residential areas, Grade A office buildings, and five-star hotels across the country, including the Beijing Olympic venues, the Shanghai F1 Circuit, the Jinmao Tower, and the Sheraton Hotel in Guangzhou.

It was named “Bathroom Brand Preferred by Chinese Women” by Urban Housewives magazine in 2008, while its Karbon DTV smart shower system received the Most Successful Design Award from the Chinese edition of Fortune.
