Other notable exhibits included emeralds from Zambia, pink tourmaline from Afghanistan, malachite from Anhui, and a massive natural copper block from Michigan, USA, weighing about 350 kilograms. In addition to the mineral displays, the conference also showcased advanced technology, such as the German MD4 quadrotor drone series and various field prospecting equipment, reflecting the evolving nature of modern mining practices.
As one of the four largest mining conferences globally, this year’s event featured three main thematic forums, including the Forum for Foreign Ministers of Mining and the High-level Forum on Enterprise Development. A total of 34 specialized forums and 10 national project presentations were held, offering valuable insights into the future of the mining industry.
