(1) Structural performance characteristics

The rotary cup atomizing nozzle sprays fuel into the front end of the conical cup. The fuel is formed into a film by a high-speed rotating cup, and the fuel is atomized by the combination of 'centrifugal spray' and 'speed spray'. When the fuel leaves the cup, there is also a tangentially rotating primary wind that helps atomize and mix well with the air. The combustion air is supplied in the outer periphery of the primary wind. Therefore, the rotor atomizing nozzle is integrated with the oil supply and air supply system, and is called a rotary cup burner (or burner) on the industrial furnace and the boiler. According to the different ways of supplying air, it can be divided into three categories:

1) The atomization and combustion air are all supplied by the fan of the burner. The advantage is that it is convenient for accurate air distribution and adjustment. The disadvantage is that the fan power "target=_blank> machine motor power, the overall weight is large. The current fully automatic cup-type combustion In order to self-sufficient combustion, a fan-motor is also available, such as the products of SAACKE and Dongyan Precision Coating (introduction technology).

2) The nozzle self-supplied 15% to 20% of the atomizing air, the combustion air is free to inhale, but the burner should work under negative pressure. The advantage is that the secondary air can be preheated, and the motor power is small and heavy.

3) All air supply is concentrated by external air supply, and multiple pieces are used on industrial furnaces with preheaters.

The rotor type atomizing nozzle has the following characteristics:

1) The fuel adjustment range is large, up to 1:8;

2) There is no problem of blockage and wear of the fuel injection hole, the oil quality is not high, the oil supply pressure is low (0.05~0.15MPa), and no high pressure oil pump is needed;

3) The atomization particle size is not as good as the pressure atomization nozzle, but the droplet size and distribution are uniform, the atomization angle is large, and the flame is short and thick. And the atomization quality is better under low load (because the rotation speed is constant, the oil quantity is small, the oil film is thinner);

4) There is a high-speed rotating mechanism, which is complicated in manufacturing and processing, and has large vibration and noise. It is necessary to use a noise-reducing device for noise reduction.

(2) Design points

Recently, we can design according to the following points:

1) The rotation speed of the atomizing cup is 3000-6000r/min;

2) The primary atomizing air volume is about 20% of the total air volume, the ejection speed is 40-100 m/s, and the primary air outlet vane is at an angle of 30 to 30 with the axis (changing the angle to adjust the flame length);

3) The cone angle of the rotor should ensure that the atomization angle is 75°-140°, but the nozzle atomization cone angle must be increased considering the effect of the swirl.

4) The atomizing gas pressure P=3~11kPa, the secondary air pressure is 2~7kPa, according to the oil supply quantity, the upper limit value is taken when the oil quantity is large.

5) The circumferential speed of the rotor is 18~30m/s; the rotary cup of the rotary cup type electrostatic spray gun is similar to the rotor atomizing nozzle. Its main structural dimensions and working parameters are as follows:

A) The cone angle of the rotary cup nozzle is 20°-30°, the angle is too large, the larger the liquid film gradient, the worse the atomization effect;

B) the length of the nozzle of the rotary cup is 0.5-1 times the diameter of the cup mouth;

C) The linear speed of the edge of the general rotary cup nozzle is preferably about 30m/s, which is consistent with the requirements of the above-mentioned rotor atomizer;

D) When the rotation speed is lower than 800r/min, the droplets are too thick, and the paint film is not smooth, generally should be greater than 2800r/min, and the bright spray should be greater than 4000r/min;

E) The diameter of the cup is related to the size of the sprayed workpiece. For example, the width of the workpiece is 500mm, the diameter of the cup is 50-70 mm, and the size of the workpiece is 1000mm, the diameter is 150mm or the combination is 75, 100, 150mm.

F) The spray cup mist sprays a hollow paint surface, and special auxiliary measures must be taken, such as adding a discharge needle, a gas ring, a collar, and an axial flow vane.
