Fire hydrants: Choose the right place to install

However, in real life, due to weak fire safety awareness of some units and individuals, there is a wide variety of fire hydrants being damaged, either missing "arms" or "legs", and some fire hydrants located near the main street are occupied and buried by construction projects; Some fire hydrants were surrounded by vehicles, stalls, etc., and they could not be connected. Some of them were even interrupted by water supply, which seriously threatened the smooth development of fire fighting. Installation points
Fire hydrants: Connected to fire water supply systems or water supply systems, with on-off valves and one or more outlets are used to supply water to fire hoses or to fire trucks. Fire hydrant is divided into indoor fire hydrant and outdoor fire hydrant.
When indoor and outdoor fire hydrants are directly supplied by municipal water supply pipes and independent fire water supply systems are used, backflow preventers shall be provided at the interface with the municipal water supply pipe network.
The dry water hydration system should not be filled for more than 3 minutes.
The number of outdoor fire hydrants should be determined based on comprehensive calculation of fire hydrants' protection radius and outdoor fire hydrant fire-fighting water consumption. The output of each outdoor fire hydrant should be calculated at 15 L/s, and the distance from the protection target should be within 5 to 40 m. , can be included in the number of outdoor fire hydrant.
Outdoor fire hydrants should be evenly arranged along high-rise buildings, and should not be centrally arranged on one side of a building. The number of outdoor fire hydrants on the side of a high-rise building's rescue surface should not be less than two.
An outdoor fire hydrant should be installed in front of the backflow preventer from the inlet pipe of the municipal water supply network.
The fire water supply pipe network application valve is divided into several independent sections, and the number of fire hydrants in each section should not exceed five.
The distance between the outdoor fire hydrant and the fire pump adapter shall not be less than 15m and not more than 40m.
Selection points
1. When the building is within the protection radius of the municipal fire hydrant within 150m and the fire-fighting water consumption does not exceed 15L/s, no outdoor fire hydrant may be provided.
2. Outdoor fire hydrants should be evenly arranged along high-rise buildings and should not be concentrated on one side of the building.

4. The outdoor fire hydrant of the parking lot should be set along the parking lot, and it should not be less than 7m from the nearest row of cars, and not less than 15m from the gas station or library.

7. Outdoor ground type fire hydrants shall have a diameter of 150mm or 100mm and two bolts with a diameter of 65mm. Outdoor underground fire hydrants shall have one each with a diameter of 100 and 65 mm.
8. The protection radius of outdoor fire hydrants should not exceed 150m, and the spacing should not exceed 120m.
9, outdoor fire hydrant from the roadside should not exceed 2m, from the house exterior wall should not be less than 5m.
