AQSIQ released a message yesterday. Recently, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. initiated the recall of some Chevrolet Lechi cars produced between December 20, 2010 and May 11, 2011, totaling 22,457.
The reason for the recall is that due to the supplier's assembly problems, a very small number of vehicle rear axle fastening nut split pins may be missing. During the driving process, the relative movement between the components in the rear wheel system can not be reliably prevented in extreme cases, causing the components to fall off and there is a safety hazard.
The vendor-specific service center will contact the user who recalled the vehicle to arrange a free maintenance.
