Xi'an construction steel individual tentative slightly elevated

On the 16th, the prevailing quotation for construction steel in Xi’an was temporarily stabilized, and the price of leading steelmakers rose. The large market’s morning market price is expected to rise, subject to the weaker overall market performance yesterday, and the morning market price was slightly higher than that of individual merchants. Merchants maintained their closing levels yesterday. As of the time of press release, the dominant secondary steel screw of the leading steel mills was 4280-4300 yuan/ton, and the third-grade steel was 4480 yuan/ton. The individual specifications were over 4500 yuan/ton, and the high-line mainstream was 4,600 yuan/ton.

In early trading, mainstream merchants’ prices temporarily stabilized, and individual merchants tentatively increased by RMB 20/ton. According to feedback from merchants in the market, transactions continued to shrink, market cautious sentiment grew, enthusiasm for small and medium-sized merchants took advantage of orders, and end-user demand performance gradually shrank. The market is about to enter the off-season demand, so although the dominant steel makers significantly raised the contract price yesterday, they did not support the upward market price. From the perspective of local resources, at this stage, Xi’an’s market inventory is about 360,000 tons, which is significantly lower than the previous period. The supplement of the leading steel mills is still very limited and it is difficult to improve in the short term. Some of the three steel grades tend to be tightened and the prices are higher than the normal price increase. Level, there is also some support for market prices. From the perspective of the major markets in East China and North China, prices have continued to rise slightly in the past two days. The prices of steel mills in various regions have generally risen. Most businesses believe that the Xi'an market will continue to have slight upside after digesting upward pressure on prices in the short term.
