What are the types of children's beds, how to buy

Children's bed, also known as cradle bed, refers to the bed used by children. It is characterized by safety and practicality. Children's beds are traditional, classic, modern and more popular. The children's bed can be divided into: single bed, half-height bed, middle-high bed, high-low bed, side cabinet bed, and high bed.

The characteristic of a single bed is short, and the benefit is naturally safe. There is no need to worry about the child falling under the bed when sleeping, and it will not be painful even if it falls, and it is much more convenient for the child to get out of bed.

There is another name for the high and low beds called bunk bed, or bunk bed, mother and child bed. This type of bed sells well, because the same floor space is equivalent to two beds, and you can put things if you do n’t sleep.

The elevated bed is a higher half-height bed. It is generally 1.5 meters or more above the ground. Compared with the half-height bed, the higher space under the bed can be used for a set of study desks, chairs and wardrobes, and the utilization rate is higher. If the children ’s room is too compact, this bed is an option. But because it is relatively high, it is not recommended for children.

The height of the half-height bed is between 0.8-1 meters, not high or short, and is relatively suitable for children 4-6 years old.

The side cabinet bed is a single bed with a side cabinet, which effectively uses the vertical space of the wall, and there are other similar bed types. For example, a cabinet is added to the head of the bed.

When choosing a children's bed for a child, not only must it be beautiful and practical, but more importantly, safety.

1. Pay attention to the gap between guardrails. In addition to the height of guardrails, the spacing between bed guardrails should be between 60-75mm; this is to prevent children's hands, feet and heads from getting caught in the gap. If it is too narrow, it is easy to catch hands and feet. If it is too wide, the child's body can easily slip and catch from the gap.

2. Pay attention to the height of the bed. If the bed is too high, the risk of the child falling will be great. The height of the children's bed guardrail should be more than 30cm relative to the bed surface; after placing the mattress, the relative height should be higher than 20cm.

3. Friends who buy and get out of bed should note that the width of the ladder is preferably between 30-40cm.
