Anaerobic fermentation of straw

In June of this year, the Gansu County Rural Energy Office in Jiangsu Province used straw as raw material for biogas fermentation experiments in Anle Village, Wangdian Township. The test results were relatively good. The specific method of operation is as follows:

The length of the straw shall be 3 to 5 cm, and then the straw shall be placed in the tank stack (can also be stacked outside the tank): the minimum input of the 8 cubic meters of digester shall be no less than 250 kg, and every 20 centimeters shall be a layer. Spread the urea or ammonium bicarbonate to close it. It takes about five layers and joins river water (methane water). It is advisable to use water as raw material.

Stacking 4 to 6 days sealed. About 200 kg of pig (cattle) manure should be added as the starting material for the biogas, plus an inoculum with a quantity of at least 200 kg. When the seal is closed, stir it evenly. In order to prevent suspended solids in the feed solution, 3 to 5 firewood can be used. Spread the inside of the pool evenly vertically and cover it up with rubber or cloth.

4 to 6 days can be used for gas production.
